Magnetic tape cartridges (MTC) provide virtually unlimited durability, reliability and performance in terms of backing up and archiving mainframe data. The use of metal pigment tape in MTC technology enables storage density to be significantly increased. It currently allows storage capacity levels of up to 1 TB to be achieved.
